ALTIUS Madrid carried out a new shipment for Ras-Tanura project (KSA) from The Netherlands.

Due to their dimensions (up to 28.5 m of length and 6.15 m of height), it was not possible to transport the units by road,  therefore Altius arranged and organized  transport by barges from The Netherlands, across  the channel, to Antwerp port where the barges were berthed alongside the vessel for direct loading operations by vessel cranes, from barge to heavy lift vessel. Which departed from Antwerp (Belgium) to Jubail, in Saudi Arabia.

All operations were managed and coordinated by ALTIUS.

Nuevo embarque para el proyecto Ras-Tanura

ALTIUS Madrid llevó a cabo un nuevo embarque para el proyecto Ras-Tanura (KSA) desde los Países Bajos.

El transporte de las unidades era inviable por carretera debido a sus dimensiones, (hasta 28.5 m de largo por 6.15 m de alto), por lo que Altius organizó el transporte mediante gabarras desde los Países Bajos hasta el puerto de Antwerp, atravesando el canal y atracando las gabarras al costado del buque para la maniobra de carga directa desde las gabarras al buque de carga pesada, utilizando las grúas del propio buque. El cual partió desde Antwerp (Bélgica) con rumbo a Jubail en Arabia Saudí.

Todas las operaciones fueron dirigidas y coordinadas por ALTIUS.
