In the next few days, Altius will transport 9 autonomous airport generators - weighing more than 20 tons in total - from the USA to the Canary Islands and Valencia.
Transport of two thruster tunnel sections from Spain to Japan
ALTIUS executes the transportation of two thruster tunnel sections from Spain to Japan, which will be part of the base structure of a ship's thruster propellers.
The land transportation at the origin of both pieces, from the manufacturing workshop to the loading port, was quite a difficult task because of the vast dimensions of the cargo, namely 4,45 meters wide and 4,15 meters high for each piece.
Both pieces will be shipped onto a RO-RO vessel onto MAFIs from Santander Port to Kobe.
Shipment of two nozzles from Santander (Spain) to Kobe (Japan)
ALTIUS executes the transport of two nozzles from Spain to Japan, which will be part of the propeller gear structure of a ship.
The inland transport of these pieces from their manufacturing facilities to the port of loading was a difficult task due to the large dimensions of this merchandise, with each piece being 4.45 meters wide and 4.15 meters high.
Both pieces will be shipped on a RO-RO vessel on MAFI's from the port of Santander to Kobe.
Loading of the pushback tug TPX-100 -E
In September 2015, Altius carried out loading operations of the pushback tug TPX-100 -E of 8 tons and 30 cubic meters, at Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport, Spain. The equipment was loaded onto a trailer and transported to its final destination at Köln Airport, Germany.

In September 2015, Altius loaded an 8-ton, 30 cubic metre TPX-100 E tractor-trailer at Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport, Spain. The equipment was loaded on a trailer, and shipped to its final destination in Cologne Airport, Germany.
First shipment for the project "ILO NODO SUR - NEPI PROJECT".
On last September8th 2015, Altius Project Divison successfully performed in Charleston Port (USA) the loading operations belonging to the first shipment of the project "Ilo Nodo Sur - Nepi Project", loading a Gas turbine of 199,5 Tons and a Generator of 256,4 Tons.
The shipment was completed a few days ago with a second call in Houston Port for loading Loose parts & Hazardous Material on board of a heavy-lifter vessel and transporting up to Ilo Port in Peru.
First shipment of the project "ILO NODO SUR - NEPI PROJECT
Last September 8th, Altius successfully completed in the port of Charleston (USA) the loading operation belonging to the first shipment of the project "ILO Nodo Sur- Nepi Project", loading a 199.5-ton Gas Turbine and a 256.4-ton Generator.
This shipment was completed a few days ago with a second call at the Port of Houston to load auxiliary fittings and IMO materials on board a vessel with means and transport them to the Port of Ilo in Peru.
