hamriya3Altius successfully carried out transportation of 2 fully assembled ship-loader cranes, from the port of Hamriyah, UAE, to the port of Aqaba in Jordan. To that end, Altius had to load, stow and secure said cranes, where each one weighed 520 Tons and measured 60,000 x 22,000 x 30,500 mm. Loading/unloading of cranes was carried out using a single crane from the vessel.

To stow and secure the ship-loader cranes, Altius had to put additional reinforcements in place by way of 12 pillars per crane, which had to be dismantled and removed at the port of destination prior to unloading the cranes.

Altius successfully carried out the transport of 2 fully assembled loader cranes from the port of Hamriyah, UAE, to the port of Aqaba in Jordan. Altius was in charge of loading, stowing and lashing these cranes, each weighing 520 tons and measuring 60,000 x 22,000 x 30,500 mm.

The loading/unloading of the cranes was carried out with a single crane on the vessel. To stow and lash the cranes, Altius had to place reinforcements in the form of 12 pillars per crane, which also had to be dismantled once they arrived at the port of destination in order to unload the cranes.

Logistics for Urea and Ammonia Plant: BuloBulo Project (Bolivia)

bulobuloproject3bulobuloproject2Altius successfully completes transportation of cargo for BuloBulo project in Bolivia consisting of a Urea and Ammonia plant. To carry out said project, over 500 Open Top containers were unloaded at the port of Arica in Chile and transported, following client requirements in terms of time and quantities, to their final destination at BuloBulo, Cochabamba (Bolivia), more than 950 km away. Transportation was carried out from March to May of present year, 2017. Upon delivery of the last container, ALTIUS successfully completed another project in South America where it had to overcome, besides the transport itself, added difficulties in coordinating the different legislations of both countries involved as well as customs procedures at the border between them.

To carry out the logistics of this project it was necessary to unload more than 500 Open Top containers in the port of Arica (Chile) and transport them, according to customer requirements in terms of time and quantities, to the final destination, more than 950 km away, in the town of BuloBulo, Cochabamba (Bolivia). Transportation was carried out from March to May 2017. With the delivery of the last container, ALTIUS completed another project in Latin America, where it had to overcome, in addition to the transport itself, the difficulties of coordinating the different legislations of the two countries involved as well as all customs procedures involved at the border crossing.
