Our Altius RORO department continues to grow thanks to our client's trust and to the quality services rendered. As a matter of fact, not only have our services increased concerning both our domestic and international clients, but we have also gained new ones, as we provide logistic solutions for both project cargo and RORO cargo, for either new or used equipment.

During this past year Altius transported more than 500 equipment units in this fashion, ranging from 16 T to 120 T, and involving a wide variety of cargo (diggers, bulldozers, dumper trucks and articulated dumpers, graders, road construction equipment, mobile cranes, buses, trucks, ambulances, etc.).

It has all been possible thanks to the great dedication of a specific department in charge of this type of cargo, as well as operational support and high stringency standards required of different suppliers, resulting in a high-quality service provided to our clients every time.

OAS Re-evaluation

With the implementation of the new Union Customs Code (CAU) of May1st 2016, a re-evaluation of all existing Authorizations and Certificates became necessary. Among these evaluations is the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certificate which is vital for us in performing our activity.

This re-evaluation demands higher standards, and the criteria to satisfy are stricter than in previous evaluations.

ALTIUS holds this status since 2010, being one of the first companies to obtain it. Last May 14th, 2019, the IRS notified us that we successfully passed the re-evaluation process for the AEO Certificate . Thus now we are recognized as a trustworthy operator in the logistics chain, after 14 months of assessments and audits in all our premises.

Jose Dacosta, in charge of OAS at ALTIUS, declares that this re-evaluation was possible thanks to both the degree of involvement of our General Management, aware of how important it is for our company to hold said certificate and of all our employees in each and every department in all our ALTIUS branches.

AEO reassessment

With the entry into force of the new EU Customs Code (UCC) on 1 May 2016, it was necessary to re-evaluate all existing Authorizations and Certifications. Among these re-evaluations, the AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) certification, is vital for the development of our activity.

This reassessment calls for higher standards and even stricter criteria than before.

ALTIUS already had this status since 2010, being one of the first companies to obtain it. On 14 May 2019, we received a notification from the Tax Agency, informing us that we have successfully passed the re-evaluation of the AEO Certification, being recognized as a trusted operator in the logistics chain, after 14 months of re-evaluation and audits in all our branches.

Jose Dacosta, AEO Manager of ALTIUS assures that this re-evaluation has been possible thanks to the great implication of the General Management, aware of the importance for a company to have this certification, as well as that of the employees of each and every one of the departments, in every ALTIUS branch.
