Ship-blocks shipped from Cadiz to Ferrol

Last week ALTIUS S.A. shipped 5 ship-blocks from the port of Cadiz to the port of Ferrol aboard a coaster gearless vessel.

The largest blocks measured up to 8,80 meters in width and 4,90 meters in height.

Cargo handling and lashing operations were carefully carried out in order to avoid damage to the blocks, which were made of aluminum.

To ensure smooth transport operations, our technical staff was in charge of operations at both ports.

Maritima Astondo and Martima Davila Cádiz worked together with Altius to make sure this shipment was successful. All 3 companies belong to Grupo Davila.
