Last Break Bulk cargo shipment for “NODO ENERGÉTICO DEL SUR” project (Perú).

ALTIUS has successfully completed the last sea transport break bulk cargo shipment for » Nodo Energético del Sur » project. The cargo, onboard the vessel M/V ALTAIR, sailed from the port of origin in Vietnam to the port of discharge in Ilo (Peru).

Unloading the vessel was difficult due to a strong wind and swell but it was nonetheless achieved successfully, after 18 hours of hard work.

This was the last shipment of a break bulk Project cargo which included two shipments from the US of three turbines and three generators, one shipment from Korea of three transformers and one general cargo shipment from the US.  All shipments were unloaded at the port of Ilo (Peru).  The heavy units were transported directly to the site and the rest of the cargo was taken to a temporary warehouse.
